August wrap-up

One of these days I might attempt to actually say something about the books I read again. But, until I have more time than I do now, here's the list of what I read in August. This might be the most books I've ever read in a month.

Fluke, or, I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings
Island of the Sequined Love Nun
both by Christopher Moore
American Gods, by Neil Gaiman
Hogfather, by Terry Pratchett
Neither Here Nor There by Bill Bryson
Escape from Bridezilla by I don't know who, but this book was so awful I'm not even going to bother to look it up.
Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn
Prince Caspian
Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Horse and His Boy
The Silver Chair
The Magician's Nephew
The Last Battle
All by C.S. Lewis
Briar Rose by Jane Yolen
Leaping Beauty by Gregory Maguire
Lunch Money by Andrew Clements
Hypocrite in a Pouffy White Dress by Susan Jane Gilman
Breakout by Paul Fleischman
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
both by J.K. Rowling

You read Ella Minnow Pea? Man, I've wanted to read that for a while; it looks goofy in the tradition of Jasper Fforde. Was it any good?
